New Home Construction

CONSULTATION

The whole process starts with a conversation with you and our team to better understand your vision. We listen, assess and evaluate according to your goals and preferences, and determine an initial budget and timeline.

INITIAL DESIGN PHASE (3 to 6 months)

Once we determine your goals we begin with architectural plans, submitting plans to engineering, refining budget, and submitting to the city for a permit.

START CONSTRUCTION (once permits received)

This is when we break ground and you’ll see your home take its initial shape. We’ll prepare the lot, pour foundation, frame, roof, establish mechanicals, insulation, and install exterior doors and windows. City inspections will take place as well.

EXTERIOR WORK

Your home now begins to come to life with the installation of all exterior veneers (stone, brick, wood or stucco).

INTERIOR FINISHES

Stepping through the front door, you’ll begin to see all of your design choices come together as we install sheetrock, flooring and tile, cabinetry and trim, countertops, and lighting, plumbing, hardware, and appliances.

FINAL DETAILS

As we are completing the interiors and exterior veneers, we will final grade, install flatwork, landscaping and have a final building inspection. Then you can move into your beautiful new home!

Remodels

CONSULTATION

Regardless of the size of your project, the whole process starts with a call to Veranda. We will assess your preferences and set up an initial consultation to further discuss your individual needs, budget and timeline. Our goal is to develop, design, and execute a tailored plan that will be the foundation for your newly remodeled home.

DESIGN PHASE

The beginning phase starts with determining the scope of work, architectural plans if needed, and scheduling a “Trades Day” to bring in all related trades and receive bids to put your budget together.

START CONSTRUCTION

Once the budget is approved, we begin construction and the project begins to take shape. The timeline will depend on the scope of work needed.

COMPLETION

Upon completion of the final walk through and inspection, you can now enjoy your newly remodeled space!
